Steven Marjerison and Wes Hampton Complete Vocal Session at The Poole Room
On August 31, 2026, recording artist Steven Marjerison joined acclaimed Gaither Vocal Band tenor Wes Hampton at The Poole Room for a studio session marking another exciting milestone in Marjerison’s forthcoming Christmas music project.
Working with renowned recording engineer Randy Poole, Marjerison and Hampton recorded vocals for their upcoming Christmas single, bringing together two distinctive voices for a collaboration that will be among the first releases from the developing collection.
The session offered an early glimpse into the sound and character of the project—warm, timeless, and rooted in the spirit of Christmas while showcasing the musical chemistry between Marjerison and Hampton.
For Marjerison, recording at The Poole Room was particularly meaningful. The opportunity to work alongside Hampton and Poole brought together artistry, friendship, and years of musical experience in a studio environment known for hosting some of Christian music’s respected voices.
The resulting recording exceeded expectations.
“What came together in the studio that day was incredibly special,” Marjerison said. “Wes brought exactly what I hoped he would bring to this song, and Randy created an environment where we could simply make music. I walked away from the session even more excited for people to hear what we’ve been working on.”
The September session follows months of development on Marjerison’s Christmas collection, which also includes collaborations with arranger and producer Cody McVey, arranger Craig Adams, and other musicians and creative contributors.
The Marjerison and Hampton collaboration is scheduled to be released during the 2026 Christmas season, with additional music and the full collection to follow.
More details surrounding the single will be announced as its release approaches.
